Membership and Dues

Q: What is the Phoenix College Interior Design Club? Why should I join?
A:  Our goal is to keep students connected with each other and what's going on in the world of interior design.  This blog will be the hub of all information regarding opportunities to get involved beyond just taking classes.  Members will enjoy several benefits, including such things as being the first to know about a design competition team you might want to join, an internship possibility that just became available, a professional meeting with a guest speaker you might want to hear, discounts on events planned by the organization, participating in a worthwhile volunteer project, and of course, networking opportunities, just to name a few.  You might also want to become a leader by volunteering to work directly with the board to help make exciting events possible.  Just let us know you're interested and we'll find a place for you!

Q: Who is eligible to join this organization?
A: If you are a current Phoenix College student and have an interest in interior design, you're welcome  to join the PC Interior Design Club.  You do not have to be enrolled in an interior design class, nor do you have to be declared as a major.  As long as you fill out the application form and pay your dues, you're in!

Q: What are the membership dues and how do I join?
A: Dues for PCID Club are $10 for the school year beginning in the fall semester, so your membership goes from August to August. To join, please find the link JOIN PCID CLUB to access the simple application form.  Just print it, fill it out, and get it turned in to the Interior Design office (DB301 or give it to any board member (see MEET THE BOARD link) with cash or check made out to Phoenix College Interior Design  If you have any questions, feel free to contact a board member at pcinteriordesignclub@gmail.com.

Q: How do I find out more information about the professional organizations mentioned above?
A: We have links to all of the major professional organizations located in the right hand column of this blog.  Go there to find out about the application process, dues, and eligibility.  All of these organizations will require you to be a current student majoring in interior design.
